It would also be nice if this "green" board was not scrutinized, generalized about, or talked poorly about on your "blue" board. As the admin of the "blue" board, will you make that same statement ( "it would be nice if they were not brought up in the first place") on your "blue" forum? Sorry, but blue is criticized here too. I don't limit what people talk about, nor have I ever banned anyone. You didn't answer my question. It sounds like your're ok with the green board being criticized on blue, but you felt inclined to complain about blue being criticized here.

It's also a fact that if you don't like this board, you are free to not post or even read it. It's also a fact that if you don't like the constructive criticism you can ban me and tell everyone about how much freedom there really is here to discuss anything. again, b1tching & belaboring points over and over does not constitute constructive criticism - most discussion forums have rules & guidelines for etiquette - if you don't like the rules, then you may not enjoy participating

It sounds like your're ok with the green board being criticized on blue, but you felt inclined to complain about blue being criticized here. I'm OK with people saying what they feel in a discussion. If someone wants to criticize anything (even 'blue') on blue, I'm fine with that. What I've found over the years is that at the root of criticisms tends to be grains of truth that the poster built up from... having discussions about why they might feel a particular way helps ot get to the bottom of those truths... and as a result, often times there's something that can be learned from it. You are just as free as you always have been to come on blue and join in the discussion if you wish; even the ones about 'green'. As for the criticism, there was a generalized statement about 'everyone on blue' which I took specific issue to as being incorrect. You can go read the discussion thread on blue and see for yourself that not 'everyone on blue' deems her a puppet. I'll save you the trouble.. someone posted this: "On a personal level I would even support Sherry Tater. Even though we have disagreed over many things, we have agreed over quite a great deal of other things. I believe she has good initiative, district experience, does her homework and also actively and respectfully listens and considers points of view outside of her own personal preferences."

Agreed, it would be nice if they were not brought up in the first place. It would also be nice if this "green" board was not scrutinized, generalized about, or talked poorly about on your "blue" board. As the admin of the "blue" board, will you make that same statement ( "it would be nice if they were not brought up in the first place") on your "blue" forum? I am totally going to regret this and think I should have more sense to think this post through, but let's not forget what was "discussed" on this board before it was open to the public. You can say you guys are not about bashing, but history says differently. Deep wounds take longer to heal. Some of us are not quite healed yet.

One should be very careful about opening old sore subjects. I am sure we can hop between blue and green and find all sorts of bashing. First and only warning: This thread is about the school board candidates. Any other discussion will result in deleted posts and/or closure of this thread. Sorry guys, this is getting to be childish.

I'm told there have been generalizations and criticisms of "green" - we are actually a group of individuals that can think for ourselves. If anyone has a problem with what an individual says, fine. The generalizations on either board, about either board, are bogus.

This sort of display is a very good indication of what is ahead of us as a person is appointed to the school board and during the election, IMO.
ps. GM-I hope that warning was sent to everyone and not just me as one of your mod's was just as guilty of continuing the "green" vs "blue". Warn, ban me, etc. Do what you need to do, but sometimes house cleaning begins at home. That's all I will say.

Sorry Arch, but much of what you post on "sore" subjects (your term, not mine) is not constructive - just criticism. There are many that are tired of the b1thcing and moaning. We all have our sore spots and we all b1tch and moan occasionally. But it seems it happens more often than not. Again, your opinions are welcomed and constructive criticism helps all who come here learn about issues. But there's a lot of criticism and "sniping" that can be read into your comments. And that's not just my opinion, I can be sure.

Just wondering - haven't been there since my account was deleted by the Admin last November. ETA: yep, I've flamed the childish sniping - probably time to lock this thread since it's nowhere from here, but down - anyone want to talk about those that applied for the SB open seat, start another thread (and good luck)
