The students have an opportunity to continue in the competition for about 800 scholarships worth more than $2.6 million to be awarded next spring. The semifinalists from Naperville are Lydia A. Seabrooks from Naperville Central High School, and Olivia M, Suber and Benjamin M. White from Neuqua Valley High School. Additional semifinalists from area schools include Mary S. Bixter, Chelsea K. Elder, Nicholas A. Higgins, Jasmine A. Kwasa and Francis Lawrence from the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy in Aurora, and Tommie J. Naylor from Bolingbrook High School
