Two Schools Honored as Top
Donators to Heart Association
==========================
The American Heart Association honored two Indian Prairie schools for being the top fundraisers in DuPage County through the Hoops for Heart and Jump Rope for Heart programs. Scullen Middle School was the top middle school in the county, raising $18,450. At the elementary level, Graham Elementary was honored for raising $35,330. For the past four years, Graham has raised more money than any other elementary school in DuPage County. In 2008, the school was ranked number 3 in the Midwest and earned a spot in the top 25 in the nation by the American Heart Association for its fundraising efforts. Donations raised fund critical research and educational programs that fight heart disease and stroke.

Foundation's New Website
==========================
The Indian Prairie Educational Foundation (IPEF) is pleased to announce the launch of its new website, www.204foundation.org/
Designed to be user friendly, the website has an updated look, with lots of photos -- including a brief slide show on the home page.
In addition to details about the Foundation's programs, you will find facts about when and why the IPEF was created; an outline of its objectives, achievements, and funding sources; a calendar of upcoming events; news items; and an introduction to the citizen volunteers who serve on the IPEF Board and its sub-committees.
The IPEF invites you to visit the site for the following:
If you would like to know how to order tickets for AlphaBet Soup's children's theater presentation of The Three Little Pigs (1 p.m. on Saturday, November 15, at Waubonsie Valley High School).
If you would like to start your holiday shopping early by ordering a pewter keepsake of your child's school -- past or present.
Or if you would like information about the IPEF and its many programs and services, or perhaps make a donation.
And if you don't find what you're looking for, or simply have a comment or suggestion, you can send an email to the Foundation at mailto:contactus@204foundation.org.
