www.dailyherald.com/story/?id=383291&src=76Thieves steal Wheatland School bell Daily Herald 5/25/2010 Naperville police are hunting for thieves who stole a 36-by-36-inch cast-iron school bell valued at $6,000 from an Indian Prairie Unit District 204 warehouse on the city's south side. Police say the bell, which possibly was inscribed or stamped with "Wheatland" in honor of Wheatland Elementary School, apparently disappeared in the past six months. Naperville Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (630) 420-6006; callers may remain anonymous.
