I had pulled together info on all the ES's concerning how they conduct fall or Halloween parties last year, Fall 2009. This is from looking at all the ES's electronic newsletters. (much credit to all the volunteers at all the schools....they are all very nice and informative). As PTA's and schools are making plans now for upcoming year, I thought this would be informative.
Green is in school, and Red is out of school. I add notes, for example is it a 'parade' or 'activity'.
Brookdale-- 2 pm parade Brooks-- in school activity. Evening party in previous yrs Builta-- evening party Clow-- evening party Cowlishaw-- Sat. party Fry-- 2:15 activity Georgtown-- 2:45 Gombert-- evening party Graham-- in school parade Kendall-- in school parade Longwood-- evening party Mccarty-- evening party at Still Owen--evening party Patterson-- parade Peterson--evening party Springbrook ---no party? I didnt see ref. There was Sci nite in this time Steck--in school parade Watts--in school parade Welch--in school White Eagle-- couldnt find? Young--in school parade
edit: updated info on Brooks.

Last year, Brooks didn't have an evening party. I think we did that for 2 or 3 years in a row before it was axed due to no one stepping up to chair it. We had room parties on the Friday before Halloween last year, but we were not allowed to call them Halloween parties or have any Halloween-related themes, decoration, games, etc. They were "Fall Parties". Why they had them the day before Halloween if we weren't allowed to do Halloween stuff, I don't know.

Arwen, thanks for correcting the Brooks info. I will change it above. I must have seen a previous yr on Brooks. Or jotted it down wrong maybe. You know those internet searches...sometimes the info can be less than fully accurate!
