Indian Prairie names five new principals

AURORA -- The Indian Prairie School District has announced the appointments of several elementary school principals for next school year.
Kristen Ross, a 30-year education veteran, will be the new principal at Gombert Elementary School. She currently serves as assistant superintendent with the Kankakee School District. Ross also served in administrative roles with the West Aurora and DeKalb school districts.
Dave Worst, current Gombert Elementary principal, will transition to principal of Spring Brook Elementary.
Moira Arzich, interim Spring Brook Elementary principal, has been appointed principal for Fry Elementary, where she also once served as assistant principal. Kim Stephens will leave the top Fry Elementary post to serve as principal for Georgetown Elementary, where principal Steve Selle has announced his retirement.
Brian LeCrone will assume the role of principal at Brookdale Elementary. For the past two years he has served as principal for Kimball Hill Elementary School in Rolling Meadows. Terri Drendel will transition to Welch Elementary to serve as assistant principal.
The new appointments take effect July 1.
