Back in December, the Sheriff’s Office & the FOP Lodge 109 held a fundraiser to raise money for the Loosli family who have been going through a tragic time. If anyone is not aware, Deputy Loosli’s wife Elizabeth was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma while she was pregnant with their first child. The baby, Mira, was delivered 10 weeks early so that Elizabeth could start the treatment she desperately needed. Now almost 2 months later the Loosli’s are continuing their battle. Mira is now at home and doing well and Elizabeth continues her fight. She is getting ready to undergo a bone marrow transplant which will require her to be in the hospital in isolation for over a month. So to give some additional financial support, the Wheaton Chick-fil-A will donate 20% of the receipts to the Loosli family if you go into the restaurant located at 301 E. Loop Wheaton for dinner tomorrow January 20th between 5-8pm. We look forward to seeing everyone there, don’t forget to tell your friends and family to stop by the Wheaton Chick-fil-A and show support to the Loosli Family.
