Thanks for posting this info. So, using the numbers given for 30 day enrollment and projected enrollment for the coming years, we can see how overcrowding will be eased in most of these buildings with the new schools opening. What will enrollment** numbers for our three high schools and seven middle schools look like over the next three years? School Metea Neuqua Waubonsie IP/Frontier Crone Fischer Granger Gregory Hill Scullen Still | 08-09 0 4677 3853 550 1203 0 1155 1099 929 1405 1126 | 09-10 1350 3950 3150 550 1222 1024 841 1043 844 1030 862 | 10-11 2010 3800 2890 550 1220 1017 853 978 860 1005 877 | 11-12 2650 3550 2550 550 1168 1018 921 958 908 1059 877 |

I added up HS enrollments from the ES's, moving forward through HS in four year groups. Of course this assumes zero growth. Class of 2013 2014 2015 2016 2017 2018 | HS Enroll 9233 9153 9193 9195 9004 8697 |

The Class of '18, in blue, includes current Kindergarten. So it may not be best predictor? Maybe still a couple hundred will move in from private K? Not sure how to include the full day K effect. We will know more through the years. The biggest uncertainty isnt K class size IMHO, its what the housing market does. Nonethess, looks like we are looking at HS enrollments >9000 for the foreseeable future. At least until Obama has concluded his second term as president and has been on the speaking tours for a while. Or until maybe its Palin whose in her second term... after she convinced Mccain to settle for only one term!

Thanks for the info mt4 and GD. I never realized how the crunch will also help the MS's. I knew they were crowded and thus the need for the 7th MS, but wow. That will be a great breather for Scullen next year.
And although the builders would probably not agree with me, this lull in the SW growth will only help WV until MV goes to full build out but I know eventually, those numbers will be increasing.

Does anyone have a breakdown regarding Frontier campus. I am looking for the number coming from each of the high schools.

Does anyone have a breakdown regarding Frontier campus. I am looking for the number coming from each of the high schools. I think it varies each year, with the majority coming from NVHS primarily due it's location, as it is an optional program. If anyone knows differently please correct me.

Does anyone have a breakdown regarding Frontier campus. I am looking for the number coming from each of the high schools. Not exactly the question you are asking but.... the above table combined Indian Plains School and Frontier as 550 students. The 2008 Enroll report shows 75 students at Indian Plains. So they are estimating having about 475 at Frontier. Again, I dont know the division btw schools.

Scullen will be about 30% smaller next year. Big benefit to the Scullen community next year, and into the future. A big part of getting MV and Fischer going in 2009 is clearly to support the Scullen students next year by reducing severe overcrowding in their bldg.

I hope the frontier campus / block coursework can be folded into each high school as space permits. This would make this program more available to junior and senior students. Some students at nvhs have the opportunity to go to frontier and the main campus which is nice if the students want to stay active at the main campus. I don't know if this is possible for wvhs students due to the greater driving distance.
