Why doesn't Aurora pick it up on their Community Television network? With such a large chunk of the district being from Aurora, it seems odd that it's only available to Naperville residents.

Aurora has 5 school district, IMSA, College of DuPage, and Waubonsee Community College. I was talking to someone from COD and he told me that Aurora only has to request the feed from COD. Not sure they will, again with 5 school districts to deal with.

Congratulations to all the graduates.
I was reading in the Sun this morning some of the highlights of the ceremonies. I found Neuqua's Valedictorian Siyue (Catherine) Chen's quote very inspiring and her words should make everyone question what opportunities lie ahead.
"The disappointments open up just as many opportunities as the dreams. They give us a chance to learn from mistakes, and, sometimes, they lead us in new directions that are even better than our original plans. We all had disappointments, and if you see no opportunities from them now, you're just still in the middle of the story".
I'm guessing she was referring to disappointments that these seniors have experienced over the last few years of high school, but they certainly should provide some powerful inspiration for all of us.

My guess is West & East Aurora, 204, Oswego & possibly Batavia? Just curious.

I heard that next year's graduation will be the weekend before Memorial Day (which makes it pretty much the same weekend as this year's graduation). This means the seniors will still be out earlier than the other students, though not by nearly as much as this year. I also heard very positive comments from a teacher who was on a recent tour of MVHS. I wonder how the district's graduations will be handled when there are three high schools. It will be nice when we start having ceremonies with fewer students than they are now, even though they'll still be huge. I heard NV's graduation was over 1100 students and WV around 920 (exact number in today's printed Beacon but I don't see it online). I don't know if this link was up here already or not. WV graduation photos (I saw this linked from the Beacon, I am sure there is a similar link for NV from the Sun) - www.suburbanchicagonews.com/napervillesun/photos/-1,gallery_waubonsie-grad_na052409.photogallery?index=1
