Students compete in conference

Sun staff A total of 64 high school students from District 204 qualified to compete at the annual state Career Development Conference of the Distributive Education Clubs of American, according to a District 204 E-News release.
Eleven students went on to compete at the national conference in Atlanta.
Neuqua Valley High School's Mike Short placed in the top 10 in the nation in the Entrepreneurship Franchising Participating category. Waubonsie Valley High School's Jeff Carlson also placed in the top 10 in the nation in the Financial Analysis Written Exam category.
