Community Technology Forum- Call for Participation
District 204 is seeking interested individuals to participate in the establishment of a Community Technology Forum. The purpose of the forum is to foster open communication about the district's technology initiatives, display examples high quality teaching and student learning with technology, learn about industry and business technology trends, and receive feedback from the greater community about technology in the district.
Anyone interested in participating in this Community Technology Forum should email David Zolnier, the District Chief Information Officer at david_zolnier@ipsd.org, by Friday, February 20, 2009. Please include a letter of interest that includes your background, experience and summary of interest in this forum.

Software Discount Available for District 204 Families
Indian Prairie School District has established a partnership with its software licensing companies to offer Microsoft Office, Windows Vista and selected Adobe products (Photoshop, etc.) to District 204 families and staff members at a substantial discount.
An example of the savings is Microsoft sells its Office 2007 Standard Student Edition for approximately $100, but it can be purchased through this partnership for just $66. In addition, this version is licensed for installation on up to 3 computers in a household.
