WV Show Choirs

The students of the Waubonsie Valley Show Choirs put together some fantastic performances again this weekend. On Saturday, both "Girls and Heels" and "Sound Check" performed at the Milton Show Choir Invitational in Milton, Wisconsin. The day included participating schools from Illinois, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Iowa. "Girls in Heels" was the winner of the Women's Division. Juniors Sammi Hoffman and Lauren Guenther represented WVHS as two of the top three finalists in the Solo Division. "Sound Check" was named Grand Champion in the Mixed Division and was recognized with specialty awards for Best Vocals, Best Choreography, and Best Stage Crew (Thalia Picasso). Go Warriors!
