Just a reminder that this Saturday is the FAF. It is a great time to experience the wonderful programs we have in this district. Music, Art, Sewing/Fashion, Architectural drawing, Woodworking just to name a few. I am sure I will see several of you there.

The Indian Prairie Educational Foundation announces the 21st annual Fine Arts Festival for the community this Saturday, May 16 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm at both Waubonsie Valley and Neuqua Valley High Schools. Each year, the Fine Arts Festival showcases the talents of Indian Prairie's 29,000 students. The event features more than 60 musical performances and more than 12,000 pieces of artwork that literally fill the hallways. This event is free and open to the public. In addition to funding from the Indian Prairie Educational Foundation, the Fine Arts Festival also receives financial support from a Cultural Grant awarded by the City of Naperville. We just got back from the NV Fine Arts Festival. We had a 5th grade orchestra performer and 6th grade chorus. If you have never been to one, go. It is incredible. I had the pleasure of watching the NVHS Chamber Singers a few months ago and these young ladies are fantastic.
I have to applaud all the teachers, parents and students for such a great afternoon.

Today was great at WV also. Saw many friends there and enjoyed the performances as well. It never ceases to amaze me at what a fantastic music program we have in this district. The art work was awesome as well.
