I bet there are some juniors and seniors who never use their lockers and would be more than happy to rent them out Please remember we've known that WVHS will be VERY crowded for the next 2 years - next year especially. But, the freshman class is the smallest it will ever be and they will need to share? Most don't know this, but Gregory students all share lockers. I guess they don't complain as they all get to go to Neuqua. And, my senior son has never used the school issued locker, ever. He chooses to use his athletic locker and carry his stuff in his backpack. Backpacks are allowed in the high school classrooms where they were forbidden in the middle school. I don't know that all options were explored before the packet was sent out. Is it purely a logistical thing? your comment about Gregory students not caring about sharing lockers because they are going to NV is totally uncalled for and just plain rude.

I guess it just boils down to the fact not all the schools are created equal. The Gregory students shared in MS. The Scullen students who didn't share in MS will have to share in HS. I will admit it sucks with the crowding at WV AND the shared lockers for one year. Do HS students get to carry their backpacks to class?

Just curious...did WV have shared lockers during the crowded period just before NV was opened?

Do HS students get to carry their backpacks to class? Yes they do and many rarely visit their lockers. Personally I do not like the "HOUSE" concept they are creating. This is HS, mix it up. Let the kids experience HS the way HS was intended. The only thing the Freshman campus created was another year of 8th grade where the freshman were top dog at school ....They need a reality check with upperclassmen.

I totally disagree with you warriromom. Not rude at all. We all pick our battles, don't we?

I disagree with your opinion of the Freshman campus when class sizes were close to 1000. But, now that we are down to probably less than 700 it is probably more effort than it is worth, and now I agree with you.
