I have been having this thought about certain people (posts) for awhile now. These feelings and thoughts are now crystallizing in my mind. I find it amusing that there are those that when they lose, just can't seem to find a way to LET GO! The people who don't want Eola will not stop trying to find a way to justify those feelings. The environmental issue has been put to rest so now it is all about how much money BB is going to cost us. These people are not attorney's and have no concept of what these filings actually say, but they continue to shout "foul." I hear almost a sense of glee from them in all their posts about how BB's attorney's are going to scre** this district. Even when it is shown that the most we may be liable for are their attorney's fees (something that often happens when people sue each other). It seems childish but what I hear them saying is, "if I can't have what I want, then I hope something happens to make you sorry." Just a musing of mine today that I wanted to share.

Thanks for sharing forthekids.
I can't keep track of all the different baits these people throw out into the pond so they can catch as many potential anti-Eola people as possible and reel them in. Where is our newly hired PR rep? The spin continues and we have no good person to defend the SB. Mark and Dash need to put a sock in it--nothing they say will be believed anyway so why bother. Even those who aren't in the district like the good reverend get bashed. A healthy portion of smite for these people who continue this FUD. I am no shrink but this just isn't healthy. I hope time can heal.

At some point (if it hasn't already happened) it should be clear that for the naysayers, it really may no longer be about the kids

Undoubtedly, for some, their motivation is about the kids and will always be about the kids, even in their anger.
And for others, it was never about the kids.

I don't think some people really know their true motivation anymore. The BS has been so thick they've started to believe themselves.

I notice today, for the first time, a positive article is posted in the Sun regarding MV, with no reference/acknowledgement/etc to NSFOC or any other detractors. Perhaps we are turning a page?

I certainly hope so, but in the past the Sun runs an article "for" the district, then the next day, the other shoe falls, or vice versa. I was very pleased with the article and even the front page today. "Just the facts, ma'am" comes to mind. However, tomorrow we could see something entirely different.
