CB:
Process we did use was uniform. The board is not stranger to RE. They knew the range of what was available given the price they made their decision.

AT re: BB suit.
Based on a preliminary analysis there is no precedent, no guaranties, though. The suit could take years cannot wait for it. We cannot find space magically. We have to think about staff. It's challenging enough trying to meet AYP without the added burden of overcrowding. Used the example of telling the phyics students they have to use the art room because that's what's available.

BG:
There is a limited resource of land in our district. If we pause and let things settle, there may not be any land left when we are ready to move forward.

AT re: level of comfort for waiting until the lawsuits are over. If we wait, the estimates are no longer valid nor reliable. Will we be able to afford a HS?

CV: Want to make her rebuttal. Construction grant forms were not used for determining student numbers. Apparently the appropriate way to determine capacity of a building is to call and architect. Her number is not a rumor. MS number has peaked and will start to decline. Lastly, banks and mortgage holders require appraisals.

AT addressed JC talking about enrollment. Research shows ideal size between 100-1500. HS performance will be affected by overcrowding. Overcrowding will reflect poorly on the district. Rural - thanks so much for sharing all these notes. Did Alka say 1000-1500 or 1000-2500 for ideal HS size? My notes say 2500.

There goes Sushi, once again when people are feeling their lowest with the negative remarks. I wasn't at the meeting. I didn't want to watch our SB make a big mistake, but how the heck do you know all the upset people were from TG. Just KNOCK IT OFF. Give me a break. I just read through her post twice to make sure I wasn't missing anything. She didn't mention TG!!! All she did was report what she witnessed at the meeting, and I thank her for reporting the details.

These are just my notes as I took them. I have 1500, but it could easily have been that she said 2500, and I just wrote down the wrong number.

Concerned, I was at the meeting and sat with a couple of friends from TG in the second row on the left side by the door. The large group on the far left side was 100% TG from what my compainions said and what I was hearing from them before the meeting started. They were very unified. The pro Eola people were in a block in front of us; most wearing white. When Dash announced that they were going ahead with Eola, a group of about 8 or 10 stormed out in front of me and on individual shouted, "How do you sleep at night?" The TG group conducted themselves well and were very tolerent of other opinions but that one group brought back memories of two years ago when a small group of about 10 residents of TG stormed out of a boundry meeting yelling "This is not over!" when they were assinged to Metea hence marking the beginning of TGs opposition.

"We are getting 84.1 acres. 1/2 the TG faction STORMED out, hitting the wall the door was opened with such force. Very immature" I guess you missed this part of her post. How do you know some were not from WE, Watts, Cowl, ect. Just because they had stickers or whatever on there shirts does not mean they are from one subdivision. I want this name calling to STOP.

scar, You are confusing me. In front of you were the white shirts, and also the 8-10 stormers?
I will agree a sat among a group of TG people during the boundary mtg (that's where the power was for my laptop). They were also very respectful during the whole proceedings. In fact they seemed almost embarrassed by some of their fanatic neighbors.

I believe she edited it before I saw it. They had stickers and they were rude and as for where they're from, I believe a few have at some point identified themselves as being from TG but we certainly don't know for sure where the people they were sitting with live. There were quite a lot of people storming out rather rudely at a few points during the SB's discussion and I understand they were angry but I don't understand the need to yell things out on the way by, mutter angry statements, slam doors, throw things loudly into the garbage by the door, and just make a generally unpleasant environment for those of us who wanted to hear what was being said by the SB.
